Anybody ever hear of these guys? My god, if you haven't heard them, then that means you've never heard anything like them. Picture a bald dude playing two chords on a banjo/ukelele, with accordian, native percussion, some killer fiddle, incredible clawhammer banjo topped off with some lady who looks like a lunchlady thumping bass lines in the back next to ambient synth. Seeing this band live is like being on shrooms, but you're sober. I can't describe other than that they're great, and Richie Stearns is one hell of a banjo player. It's like new-wave old-time music.
