I've tried the European stuff and have made the stuff at home (195 proof).
It's fun. |

| how did i miss this when I went to amsterdam i brought back 2 5ths o the stuff and every once in a while my friends and I will make a drink sit around and meet the fairy, good stuff strong though |

Making it was easy. I bought a bottle of 195-proof Everclear in Nevada or Arizona or somewhere. I ordered a bag of herbs online that they use to make absinthe. The most important was the wormwood, which contains thujone, which is the "magical" ingrediant. I put it all into a big ass mason jar and let it steep for a few months. Just about every night while watching tv or whatever I would shake it for about 10 minutes. After three months, I poured it out, filtered it, decanted it, and then enjoyed.

i was doing some research on this cause it sounded interesting. the buzz that is.......However, its pretty toxic to your liver and can cause things like sudden death, and blood poisoning. just an FYI.
I'll try to post some links when i have more TIMe. |

Sudden death & blood poisoning...Fuck...what have I been missing? Sounds like a good drink...
I read that Marilyn Manson gets alot of his "inspiration" from absinthe. Found a few pictures of him drinking it and cutting an ear off...must be the wormwood. |
