on my favourite bands list, these guys are. I havent heard their new album, Ghost Reveries, but I really want to, and Id love to see them again. The first two times I saw them they were nuts, so yay me.

i have ghost reveries. it's pretty good. not as good as deliverence, but what is? blackwater park is pretty good, too. i used to hate opeth's non-damnation work, but i wasn't being fair because they were "death metal." they're actually fantastic, vocals aside. the first track off ghost reveries sounds exactly like tool about a minute into it.
two threads about two of my favorite bands. imagine that. i'm going to try to get down to nyc to see them. hopefully they'll play "by the pain i see in others" |

| i was going to the show at the palladium in worchester, but i have a wedding to go to, so i'm going to the nyc show instead. if i can find someone to go with. |
