So some kids from school got this idea to start a dixieland band and they recruited me to play banjo. So it's actually coming along pretty good and when we played outside today just for fun we got a gig and we are planning to start getting as many as possible. The only thing is that we are completely stumped as to what to call ourselves. We thought dixieland or traditional jazz or something of the sort should be included or hinted at in the name, but the only thing we came up with was "Dix'n around" and then we decided that it would probably offend people and since it's not like a rock thing that probably wouldn't work.
