I am a relatively new TR fan. I have gone overboard and made up for lost time but still a newbie. I went to my first show in April and it was everything that i expected. We all know his performace levels are through the roof. TR is so good that he has made me think twice about other band that I have liked. For instance, I like the band Coldplay. They are a bit poppy but they do what they do well. They have they the ability to evoke emotion. I recently saw an advertisement to go to 3 Coldplay shows in May, I found out the price was near $2000.00. This is what i call a commercial jack ass. I was able to see TR for $15.00. Something aint right. Coldplay is into the maketradefair.com, they should take a look at the site maketicketpricesfair.com or hownottosuck.com. Anyway TR for $2000.00 is a bargain even WalMart cant touch let alsone $15.00 This proves day in day out more people should think like our friend TR. You define the word SLAUGHTER.
p.s. thanks Jar

Slaughter, a word to live by....

well said. i hold coldplay in relative derision, but we'll let that slide. it's astounding that i can pay (provided he plays near me) like 15 dollars to see a true master of the instrument, and i'd have to pay considerably more to see some apefuck group who are mediocre at best.

death to false metal.

Coldplay played at the HFStival, my local pop/rock extravaganza blow-out festival pot and alcohol binge. Two years ago they got booed off stage, understandably as they went right after like Foo Fighters or something a lot less... mellow. This year, though, I hear they got alot of respect. I enjoy their music, and for a while I thought they were alot more genuine, till now I hear about this 2000$ thing. I read somewhere that parachutes was going to be their last album and they were all going to become fishermen, but it was a huge success so they decided to stick with musicianship. That's mainly what made me respect them alot more.

my favorite color is go fuck yourself. :D

They have some good tracks, but they are a bunch of snooty pop-heads who I can't see making anything groundbreaking anytime soon. Hey I got an idea! Name your kid "Apple." 'Nuff said.

yeah hsftival is way too full of bullshit bands. Coldplay, FOo Fighters, and Billy Idol would have been the only acts I would want to see this year, since they may have had potential entertainment value.
