Hi All.
As it seems there are some TR enthusiasts here, I wanted to know which album would be the best bet for a newbie. I only know TR from the DM Live at Luther disc.
Thanks! |

Then I assume you are only familiar with his acoustic stuff? I would suggest buying Nomadic Wavelength or Stream, if the acoustic is what you are into. Don't be afraid to check out his harder stuff, like Astral Projection or Chaos View. |

Welcome aBOARD!
These are tim's acoustic albums:
* Stream - Has stream, and 12 other straight up acoustic songs. * See Into Your Soul - Has 7 straight up acoustic songs, plus 7 soundcapes. * Gossip Of The Neurons - Live solo acoustic cd from '96. Very trippy, a favourite among posters * Nomadic Wavelength - over a dozen avoustic songs, plus some weirdness here and there and a song by Eura, tim's daughter.
Of the acoustic albums, See Into Your Soul is my fave. Its got a perfect blend of acoustic tracks (some of my favourite ones, especialy Wayfarer, Hopeful Heresy, and Open Up, Let It In) and drum machine based tracks, those of which may help ease your way into his more electric stuff.
If youre looking for just a straight acoustic album, though, Stream or Nomadic are good starts. Gossip, though its a great cd no doubt, may be a little thicker to handle.
But his cds dont do him justice as much as his shows:

download that show, or browse his others:

the '05 ones are fun.
Hope that helps, and hope you stick around. I got into tim as well from Luthor College, and let me tell you, if you think that Stream from L@LC is good, you havent heard anything yet. |

Look on the right side of the screen. SHNamp is a plugin to listen to shn files with winamp. Mkwact allows you to convert shns to other formats. Both are excellent programs. |
