First off, let me say that "That One Guy" is awesome. The videos on his website do him no justice... the guy's rhythm is amazing. My girlfriend, Fluffy and myself all agreed that he reminded us a bit of Greg Howard. Definately check him out if you get a chance.

Unfortunatley Tim's set didn't start until 11:30, which is just way too late for a Thursday night when everyone has to be to work in the morning. I think this had to do with the bummer crowd. I was actually very surprised at how bad the corwd was, since last year the crowd at Winston's was great, but I think that it might have been a weekend show last year. Fluffy gave me a head's up before the show that Tim would be coming out in costume, and boy did he ever!
The songs I remember are: Jemez, Chatterbox, Che, Dreaming, Don't Know What, Indoctrinate, From This World, Whole Lotta Love, Radar, Put the Gas Mask On, Face Off.. gosh that's all I can remember right now... I know a lot more was played but I was pretty damn tired. The highlights were definately Che, Whole Lotta Love, and Face Off... none of which I'd seen live before.

I would like to check "That One Guy" out. I hear ya about the set time. Who can do that if they work the next day? When you said the crowd was bad, did you mean rude or small? I was guessing small.

I know when I saw Keren Ann in Philly she said the last time she was in Philly there was a mix up in the scheduling and she played to only a handful of people. BTW I see Keren Ann's new CD is taking off. Many of the stations I am corresponding with have her listed on their charts with great reviews!

Well, I guess a bit of both... lots of chattering, and by the end of the show (which was after 1:00am) most everyone was gone. Again, I'm fairly sure this was due to the time, and the fact that it was a weekday, as last year the the place was packed, and had a great crowd.
