No, but really, I asked Jon if it could be done, and told him what my old one was, told him what I wanted my new one to be, and he just did it, just like that. I don't know if he wants to have to do that regularly, so I might not suggest doing it all the time or anything.
I told him that in order for my name to reflect my ever evolving musical interests, I thought that ...DMB... was no longer appropriate. I thought it was less than good that the third most posted person here was representing DMB, when in fact, the board has nothing at all to do with them. So now I'm representing TIM, and all is well with the world.
And it's not a big change...I'm still easily recognizable...which makes me happy. Enthusiastic, if you will.

Good job on ditching DMB for Tim!!
When I registered, I was thinking about changing to a name with a Tim reference but I always posted as Kevin so I didn't want to cause any confusion.

Tim is quite honored at the name change. Besides it looks kewler on the this board anyway. Congrats on your post record. Our numbers are growing and so are the posts. This board rocks!!!!
