BUT have you seen the homepage? Since it hasn't been mentioned here I am guessing most people click on a link that brings them directly to the message board without stopping by the homepage like I do. Check it out, U may be surprised!! ENJOY

PS: The links page has been updated as well! Thanx Jon!

First, No I did not. Second, it's not a picture! I know, I know,it looks like TR's sunglasses. That is just a coicidence. I assumed it was at least a picture of SOMEONES sunglasses that looked alot like TR's, BUT NOOOOOOOO! I was wrong. I had the priviledge of meeting the artist Pete(aka Pete Code from TranceVision)at the IPU shows in NM. He came along and did sound for the 2 NM shows of the IPU. He tried to describe his process to me but I just could not visualize it. Luckily there is picture of him working on his website which is now linked on our links page(VonCotu.com). Apparently it is not sunglasses at all, it just looks like. It is art created on film, but not by taking a picture but by applying fire directly to the film. See the website for a picture of what I am trying to describe. It is not a photo at all, but it is film.

Sorry you having a bad day Kev, at least it wasn't on your B-day! I can relate I have had quite a few of those of late myself. Glad we could bring a high point to your unusually bad day.

I confess, I didn't notice until you wrote this because I am one of those that goes directly to the message board.

I agree, the coverart is very TIM! (awesome)

Now I have two cd's to look forward to, this one and Soko's!

I noticed this the other day and I was going to mention it but Fluffy beat me to it.

The guy who did the cover art has some really cool stuff going on with his art. I really like his gallery. I still don't get how it all works but it looks really, really awesome.

As I understand it(if I understand it correctly)he applies open flame to film stock and the heat creates colors and patterns. Maybe I can call Pete and have him explain it to me better or post something about it here.

Ya I saw the picture of him throwing flame to the film, but I guess I just don't understand it scientifically yet. You know it's like anything I guess it's just you do this and this happens, but I always am thinking I need to know everything when I don't. It would definitely be something interesting to look into. I just tried painting for the first time (besides water colors and childs stuff) for the first time. With acrylics and it was a blast. Me and my friend sat around at his cabin and tried to paint the landscape. I like my end result but it bore no resemblence to the landscape, so I guess there is no dutch in my blood. This is something that if I had the resources I would definitely see myself getting into it. Plus I'm somewhat of a pyro.
