Anyone played this? I'm not even sure if it's out yet, but I read some pretty solid reviews of the game online. I remember playing the original myst and getting pretty damn frustrated, but I like the puzzle style games. I might check it out. Also apparently has some portion of the soundtrack contributed by Peter Gabriel.

On the commerical that I saw, the song "Burn You Up, Burn You Down" was playing. I hadn't heard anything about his music being in the game though. That would be cool. Maybe it's some songs from Passion or OvO.

Apparently he actually wrote the song for the game's soundtrack and also did some voice work. Here's a link to a brief article on it if you're interested:

Hmmm...I'll have to buy the soundtrack! That's awesome, thanks for the article. Peter Gabriel is so damn awesome.

No problem. I downloaded the demo version from their website, just about to install it. 300+ megs for a demo is a bit on the heavy side, but maybe I'll hear some decent music at least

Went out and grabbed it this afternoon. First 5 minutes and I'm already frustrated, lol. Some of the graphics are absolutely insane, including video characters where you can actually look around as someone in full motion video is speaking to you. It's crazy. Apparently there's built in "cheating", which I haven't gotten into yet. Hopefully I won't have to use it *too* much.
