Oh it was just acoustic. He had his 12 string and 6 string martin. It was at the NAU campus in the auditorium and sounded beautiful. I never knew he could sing. It was quite a treat. Hes got such a awesome personality and is such a character/weirdo, but amazing none the less. |

Lisa Farber sent me this review of the NAU show:
Caught Live Too! @Prochnow Auditorium at NAU, Flagstaff AZ 10-01-04 Tim Reynolds by Don Brown Sr.
Here we are on another road trip to see an artist who's not coming our way. It's been over four years since we've seen guitarist Tim Reynolds in Las Vegas. We had to go to the campus of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff Arizona to check out this guitar hero.
Tim started the show playing "SPACE...THE FINAL FRONTIER" for all the interdimensional fans. Throughout the show, Reynolds would switch between six and twelve string acoustic guitars. Bob Marley's "BUFFALO SOLDIER" and the Beatles "COME TOGETHER" were some of the early highlights. The fans at NAU were well behaved and were there for Tim one hundred percent. When Tim sang "BABYLON" it was the first time we ever heard him sing.
"INDOCTRINE" and "TRY A LITTLE HARDER" were filled with more of the man's memorable guitar work. "STRANGER IN A STRAINED LAND" was just another jaw dropping moment in a night of them. Reynolds once again added his voice, this time to "NATURAL MYSTIC".
The show ended with a few instrumentals including "DOOM AND DANGER" and "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE". The fans stayed on their feet cheering this guitar great until he came back. Tim tore it up one more time for his fans on a flamenco styled workout. The fans remaining cheered until the house lights came on.
We'd like to thank Lisa Farber for all her help.

It was a great show. I had great seats too, second row center stage. After the show Tim was gracious enough to sign some autographs for us. I hope he comes back next year. |
