| Yes, recorded straight through.. basically like a concert except with no audience. |

Here is exactly what the inside booklet says:
"recorded by Larry Minnick live, at Millers, in Charlottesville, Virginia on March 25, 1996.(direct to digital with a Teac DAP20, no overdubs) tracks 1,4,5,9, and 11 were improvised" |

Most studio versions of albums are like play a song till its near perfect/perfect. Take 5 for a bit, go back and do another song. Repeat until all the songs are done.
Timmy just played it straight through, if he messed up (does this guy mess up? :P) it would be in the final. So bsaically recording a concert without all the great acoustics of a filled room (including appluase and holler.) |

| To my knowledge, there was an audience, it was just recorded direct to disc, without a mic, so no audience noise was picked up. TR was plugged in direct. Guitar to board and recording apparatus. VOILA!! no audience noise!! |
