The following is text taking from Yahoo! News:

NASA Unveils New Planetoid Named Sedna

A frozen world found more than 8 billion miles from Earth is believed to be the farthest known object within our solar system, scientists announced Monday.

The discovery of red and shiny Sedna, a "planetoid" of rock and ice between 800 miles and 1,100 miles in diameter, or about three-quarters the size of Pluto, was announced by Mike Brown, an astronomer at the California Institute of Technology who led the NASA (news - web sites)-funded team that found it....

I heard some interesting stuff on Coast to Coast (used to be Art Bell show). apparently the Hubble Space Telescope is fixable, but theres a 45% chance the repairs won't work so the bush administration doesn't want to spend any money trying to fix it.

The media has been instructed to report that it is NOT fixable and was designed to have a "shelf life" and should just fall out of the sky!

It has given us the best pictures we've ever had of space, the universe and its contents.... EVER! Many of the most beautiful and interesting are found in the archives linked below. Including stuff about Sedna, the new planet.

Are they crazy! The show was on in the middle of the night and I was in and out of sleep when I heard this stuff so I don't have alot of details, but the scientist reporting the stuff on the show was asking people to write to their representatives expressing concern (if you have it)
