How about putting out a jazz record? It would be the cornerstone of my collection. Also, have you ever met any of the great jazz guitarists like Burrell or Scofield? Any stories would be cool to hear? Any suggested listening pleasures in this style?

Thanks again and continue awakening audiences like you do so well. On a side note, from articles it's clear that you love certain metal music. I noticed you'll be playing on the same bill as Jim James at Bonnaroo - you definitely should consider meeting and/or seeing this guy, a very down to earth person.

This is the best show money can buy, hands down - the only live show that wins out in my opinion would be Rage during the Evil Empire tour.

With Tim, I would never say never, but I don't see any Jazz records in the works, because he tends to move his music in new directions and he was already been there. A lot of his earlier stuff is very Jazzy sounding. I would even classify his early 90's cd "Shifting Currents" as being straight up world jazz. Unfortunately, that cd is out of print, but look for it to pop on on the FTP very soon. Also, if you haven't already, look into his work with Greg Howard, and Michael Sokolowski. Transmigration and Sticks and Stones are both multi-instrumental jazz/avant-guard discs, and Common Margins is like traditional peices played on Piano and Guitar. All of those are for sale, and all are great. Check out the discography page for links to buy those.
