So I read somewhere that Tim said that we haven't heard how good Dave is on the guitar yet. Anybody know anything about this, where I could find anything about when and if he said this, and whether Dave really is that good.
I can't think of anyone off hand that lays down rhythm better than him. Especially not on an acoustic. His structures, progressions, and execution are really quite amazing. Aside from the more complex things he puts together, look at some of the simpler things that he lays down with such percussion that they seem like huge riffs... like the main verse/intro riff to Warehouse. Dave rocks. -J
Not that Dave's progressions are very challenging, but to sing with so much emotion and play them flawlessly 99.9% of the time does take a fair amount of skill. I think it would be cool to hear Dave attempt Stream, we might be pleasantly surprised
How good is Dave?
