I have Winamp and have tried this before, but haven't got it to work. Can someone give me a detailed walkthrough on how to download Tim's concerts and be able to listen to them and burn them to disc?

If you have winamp, you can download a plug in, that will allow you to listen to SHN files, saving you the trouble of converting them to WAV.
Look on the FTP for the plug in.
However, you'll have to download a converter, to convert SHN or FLAC into WAV files, if you want to burn them onto CDs. |

go to etree.org, download mkwACT and shnamp
mkwACT is a conversion tool if you want to burn your shns, shnamp is the tool to use with winamp to play your shns in winamp (if you have winamp 5, download shnamp for winamp 2) |

| Is it possible to resample an shn with a plugin in winamp? What I would ideally like to do with live recordings is go trxxx.shn-->winamp 2--->enhancer 17 (a plugin for winamp 2)--->wav. Enhancer seems to dramatically improve the sound quality of live recordings. Any ideas? I tried to do that using the built in wav output in winamp but I don't recall it working. |
