As i understand it, Tim uses a line 6 dl-4 pedal to loop. I think. But my real question is, which one should i get? It has to be on the cheaper side. But i am really intrested in looping. Any help is appreciated.

hey....
I use the dd-5, dd-6 and line 6 dl-4 delay modeler. The line 6 is by far the best for looping, theres 14 seconds or so, you can stop and replay and stuff. I like the backwards effect on the dd-5 a lot, and i use the dd-6 for other delay stuff. I also use my fav delay, its an ibanez, I actually never relized how many delays i use until now, man i am phucked up.
anyway, just as long as you don;t go overboard. looping is awesome, but use it toward you advantage, sometimes there more tools you have, the less you concentrate on the music itself, more on the trickery.

I've got the line 6 and I love it! You can actually get up to 28 seconds of loop time by going to half mode. Plus there's tons of cool delays on it and you can store up to three. Then there's this loop station that I think Boss Makes. Check it out here. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/search/detail/base_id/51375/src=00631 I have yet to mess around with one but it sounds really cool. If anyone has one of this give us the details! |

good point Zach about the half mode, I forgot about that! hah anyway, the boss loop station I hear can be a pain in the ass. Depends on what you need personally, I enjoy on the fly short simple live looping to being back some sounds on my recordings that were done with overdubs. anyway........ |

I dunno, it advertises that it is "on the fly." But you may be right, it could however be an older model that you heard aboout. I think im gonna give it a tr, because i really enjoy looping and i dont really need to have more delays. We'll see. |
