Yeah man that movie is the shit... i told you all to go see it a while ago http://www.timreynolds.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=380 but i dont think anyone believed me that it is good. Which it is. If you dont understand it i can explaine it to you... that is if i fully understand it which i dont think anyone really can.

OK, So I finally watched this movie tonight. I bought it on DVD a few months ago because I found it for super cheap and wanted to watch it anyways, but just never got around to it. I was following quite perfectly up until the 1st sex scene... from there it all goes to hell.
SPOILER ALERT
I went back and watched the beginning scene and this time noticed that the opening shot is a first person perspecting of laying down on a pillow... so is the whole movie a dream or what? |

DONT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE!!!!
the movie is cut into three parts. The opening scene, From that point on until she wakes up (goes into the box), and from there to the end.
The beginging is her jitterbuggin. If you remember when she arives in the limo w/ the old people she tells of how she won a jitterbuggin contest to come out to L.A.
So, after the pillow until she wakes up is a dream mixed with real facts and her fantasy. In this dream she meats cameal, falls in love, she loves her back. She is a great actress, gets a job etc etc. everything goes right for her in the dream. The dude producer guys film gets riped away from him because of the thugs. (im just kind of blowing through things, there is alot more detail if u want to re-watch it, but these are the big things).
ok, so now she wakes up.
makes coffee, then we see camella on the couch (notice the coffee table is completely different from before as it comes over the couch) this is a memory of real life she has about how her and camella broke up.
the key, it signifies in real life, that she has hired someone to kill camella. she did this because of the break up, her acting sux, etc etc. Also the guy camela is marrying is the one she dreams has alot of shit happen to.
so as the movie goes on from her it tells about their strained relationship and what happened. and after she realizes she killed her ex-lover she goes insaine and kills herself.
I know i didnt go into too much detail, but i havent seen the movie in over a year, and im sure if you just saw it would know exactly what i am talking about. if you have any more questions i will answer what i can. |

| It's definitely a movie you have to see twice. Even if you follow it the first time around, it still leaves you with a little bit of a "what the hell?" feeling left in your head. |

| hmmmm, well that makes a bit of sence... what was up with the guys eating at the breakfast diner with the one telling the other about his dreams... I have a thought on that, but I might be way off. |

That i am not entierly sure on. The only thing i can think of is she asocated her feeling of loss of control with the guy because she saw him at the dinner when she hired the guy to kill her lover.
and her dream made it into the guy duying when he faces his dream figure.
or sumthin like that.
