He played it on the Baritone!! *SWOOON!*

Greg Howard was absolutly amazing as well... especially when he came out and jammed with Tim during the Encore!

Anyway me and St. Jude both got the whole thing on tape (Greg's performance as well both before and with Tim) and I rushed home and watched my copy and it turned out pretty fucking good.

Anyway do any of you have mad video editing skillz? Me and St. Jude'll gladly B&P our shows to someone who can splice them together. Then maybe we can get it captured and up on the ftp site for ya'll.

Holy crap dude, that sounds like an amazing show! You are a lucky man to get to see Tim and Greg perform on the same stage. Sorry I have no equipment to edit proffesionally but that is definitely a show I'd like to see a video of sometime down the road. Thanks for the report!

Hell yeah that was an awsome show. He had practicaly a perfect set list. Including, High in the west, valley of flowers/ Fouresence, The Wayfarer, Jemez, In Your Eyes, Doom, And then they were free, and some crazy wacked out drum beats backing him up on the gibson. It was my first tim show that i went to but i have downloaded several others, and i have to say this was by far the best. Not just cuz i was there, but because it WAS! And greg blew me the fuck away. Someone has to put our shows together. Also there was some guy up in the rafters taping part of the show. If that was you and you are reading this, tell me whats up with that tape. I will try to get my tape on comp for all to see, who would i talk to so that it would get on tim's ftp? Or actually, how does the stuff get on the ftp? See yall lata.

This may hurt a little but it's something you'll get used to - TOOL

Hey guys, Fluffy here. Glad we could get In your eyes into the set for you Isaac. I was looking around to see if I could see you when Tim played it. I knew you would be excited. I was the guy in the rafters. I was taking pics for the site not video unfortunately. When I get your copies of the show I will be happy to forward them to Kyle who is an amazing video editor. He has done some 4 camera shoots for us before. He is a master. I also got a board tape being sent as well. Maybe we can get him to sync up that sound with the videos. That would be awesome. Just so ya know, that was the first time Greg performed with Tim during the encore since he joined us. He also performed the encore tonite with Tim and it was probably the highlight of the tour for me so far. It was amazing. Hopefully the tapes from tonites show will also be waiting for me when I get back to the office in DC after the tour. Both Greg and Tim were ecstatic about the Encore in Rockford tonite. If this keeps up who knows what will be happening between them by the end of Gregs run of dates with us. I can't wait.

Peace & Keep the Faith

Thats awsome man. I really hope he can get all of the vids mixed, cuz that was a great great show and everyone should get to see it.

I still am kinda out of it from the show, it was almost sureal.. (sp?)
The tim/greg improv was probably the most astonishing part of the show, ... but I LOVE FLOURESCENCE, I also LOVE AND THEN THEY WERE FREE, so this was like my dream show.

Yeah that'd be sweet ass if you could have Kyle splice them, with a nice sound board capture over it! Thats just plain exciting! Anyway I'm hoping to get a bigass pack of tapes this weekend and get my dubbing done and sent out.

Man I was soo hung up on actually getting to Plattville and meeting up with my girlfriends sister and getting the camera setup that I'd forgotten about the whole song request. That show would've been fucking perfect with out that song, that just knocked it out of the ballpark.

Hey cool, I just started playing/singing that song 2 weeks ago myself. It is a great song! The verse words ring so true to me. I can't pull off all the guitar hooks while singing but it's such a beautiful song that it works with a minimal arangement. Actually, if I remember correctly, TIM played this song 3/29/01 in Santa Fe too.

Thats cool Mike, I love that song a whole bunch too. Do you have a good tab for it? I've never found one i've been completely satisfied with.

No Tab. I just put on the song and find chords and follow the arrangement. Have to keep it simple to allow for my singing. Here's what I play to it: Verse=Bm-D-G-D..repeat(the D is a lead-in chord)
Chorus=A (And all my instincts) G (will now return) etc..
Bridge= hold the last G from the chorus to transition (In Your Eyes)
E (the light the heat) A (I am complete) repeat etc.. Hold and decay the E to transition back to the verse. I do alot of covers like this: Beatles, Doors, Who, Rush, Bowie, ZEP, ENO, Talking Heads, Sarah McLaughlin, David Gray, Syd Barrett, Pink Floyd, SRV, Tool. My focus is to nail the vocal melody with my emotion. Doing this is fun and I get alot of ear training and different perspectives to song writing and arranging. Don't need a band, don't need an audience, a roach would do.

I've got 3/4ths of the Plattville show on my comp, i should have the whole thing on by the end of this week. So if anyone has a fast ass connection (Cable or higher) and would like to get a copy I could possably send them your way. Or is it possable to get them on tims ftp? Or does just tim pick what to put up there.

Cool, you should probably e-mail Jon about upping it to the FTP when you get it all finished. I hope it turns out well, how big do you think it'll be?

How did you break it up? Does that include Greg Howard? I was also thinking if you've got lots of time and hard drive space, it might be cool to take a couple exceptional songs like the Tim and Greg Jam or In Your Eye's, and encode them by themselves for ease of distribution. Just an idea.
