I see many posts about asking for rare songs on tape, but is it at all possible to ask Tim to play a cover? Say, Signe by Clapton, or Johnny Appleseed by Joe Strummer? His range is incredible, a relative rookie like myself would think that he'd be Robert Johnson-like and be able to play whatever's on the radio.
And if that's true, then may I humbly request a stirring acoustic jam of "Slave 4 U" by Britney Spears? Also, Escape by Rupert Holmes, if you please. |
I Conclude that All is Well, says Oedipus, and that remark is Sacred. |

I wouldn't suggest asking Tim to play a cover. It's like commissioning an artist to do a specially requested painting. Tim would have to work on it, figure it out, and make it work. So I'd imagine he only does that with the songs he really enjoys i.e. Mercy Street by Peter Gabriel or After the Gold Rush by Neil Young.
And in the end he'll play whatever he wants.
Oh! Almost forgot! Welcome aboard! |
