last night i went to the flecktones concert at the palace theatre in albany
it was an amazing show and yes bela did play with his nose
vic wooten plasy about a 20 minute solo that blew me away. he is the most amazing bassist ive ever heard. he played a bit of a tease with amazing grace and proceded to spin his bass around his back while doin something on that guitar that looked phisically impossible. Future man started of the second set with a very unusual but impressive solo joined by bela. jeff, in a song he wrote, was playing this sax solo on a tenor, which was good enough as it was, but he had to go and pick up a alto and play them both at the same time. bela played a 15-20 minute solo on an acoustic banjo and did a baetles cover ( all you need is love). that really got the crowd goin.

during one song vic and bela were soloing back and forth and stqrted hitting each others insrtuments. dthey somehow still make it sound good. they allso did a little dueling banjos involving the entire band.

i cant say enough about how good they were. i would recommend it to everyone to go see them. i will definately go again.

if anyone has a copy of that show (March 22 at the palace) or any other show i will be willing to trade or somethin. my aol name is rhymsesthecat or you can respond on this board. my email is robnrobn@nycap.rr.com

please let me know. i ould really like to here that show again

-thanks, rhymsesthecat

That slapping each other's instruments is awesome. I love them so much.

I love Vic's Tenor Bass.

Yeah, its great when they do that. When Bela thumped Vic's bass, he played a sweet 'pink panther' tease.

'HTG, are you a cute girl?'
