| So i went in with my dad and a friend of mine...who looks jsut like me except he's 5'3". I ran into the acoustic room, and grabbed a Martin MDM. I started playing Little Martha/Cripple Creek/Watermelon/a bunch of improv. Stuff in Open D. THen the salesman complimented me on how well I was playing. Now, that may not seem like much, but this is a guy (I've tlaked to him dozens of times) who honestly beleives he's the best in the world...And I've never heard him compliment anyone. So taht was special. Then came time to get some new strings. I had the string guy search in a pile of single string for ten mintues trying to find a .20 unwound stirng. When he did, I told him that it's probably gonna turn my guitar into a wooden Altoids box, cause this things a CABLE! So now my lapslide gauges are .56 .45 .35 .26 .20 .17 The thing's gonna explode. |
