Or potential time for a break from me...either way.

Actually, I did neither. I'm reading an article my dad cut out for me from Engineering Times about an electrical engineer who also plays guitar pretty intensively. He was tired of getting feedback and hum from his electrics (apparently specifically a Strat), so he took off the pickguard and replaced it with all kinds of capaciters and filters and stuff to reduce noise.

That's pretty kewl......maybe that's what my roommate wants to do, since he likes a lot of instruments and is really into electrical engineering. I, on the other hand, will design the guitars and build them, since I'm in mechanical engineering. We could start a business.
