Ok, thanks for the info, Tim uses the DD5 to change the pitch.

Now, how does he do the "violin" effect with the loop playing at the different pitches. I thought he used the DD5 for that too, can you do both at the same time, i dont think the Line 6 can do that. thanks again for your help

He uses the Ernie Ball volume pedal for the volume swells, which make a violin-like effect. He uses either the DL4 or the DD5 to do the loop, then he uses the other pedal that isn't looping, for delay, to add more atomosphere to his violin-like stuff.

Yeah, I think you're right. I believe he generally uses the Line 6 for the loops and the Boss for the delay when he uses them together.
