What is that instrument on All Along the Watchtower in Live at United Center that kinda sounds like a xylaphone, or a guitar, or Boyd on his violin, I dunno, I hope someone can tell me cause I have no idea what it is. Thanks.

If I remember from the video... it's just Boyd using his thumb to pluck the violin strings like a guitar, layed over with some cool effects.
