Indeed, one of life's mysteries.

Why do you drive on a parkway on park on a driveway?

Why do they call it "taking a shit"? You're not really taking it anywhere. If anything, you're leaving it.

Peace,
Patrick

My guess is it has something to do with the fact that somewhere down the line a retard got hold of the fact that pants have two legs.

I've always wondered if you could use the singular form, pant, in context.

These pants that have been coming out, that you can zip off the lower legs so they become shorts... might you call the removed fabric a pant? If you had two of them they wouldn't exactly be "pants" though I guess. Hmmm.

Peace,
Patrick

I think dirtysloth is on to something. I think of a 'pant' as one leg of a pair of pants. But then I don't know what youd call the part in between where your ass sits, and connects the 'pants'.

Is the past tense of shit, shat?

I use that word quite often, shat, and people usualy argue with me over the validity of using it. Screw them, my dog shat all over herself ... I'll be back
