Is tim going to play any in C-ville, or any other place in Virginia soon?

I would imagine from what Tom our booking agent has been telling me, we will most likely be hitting the east coast on the fall tour, so I would imagine as we are moving up or down the east coast we will hit somewhere in or around Virginia. TIM still likes C-ville and likes visiting when we have the chance. He has family there. So keep the faith and if all goes "as planned", we will see you in the fall!

In the meantime, you are still one lucky bastard! You get to see guys like Greg Howard, Michael Sokolowski, and Houston Ross on a weekly basis. If I lived near C'ville I'd be going to Millers every Monday night to listen to Michael, he is amazing.

This saddens me to post this... but it looks as if C'ville will be losing two of it's greatest performers. That Grag Howard show will be his last Miller's gig because he will be starting touring on a larger scale and can't keep the commitment to Millers.
I also talked to Michael Sokolowski and he informed me that he had to give up performing to persue a full time job. That really is a shame since he is such an amazingly talented musician. He did tell me however that he, Houston, and Johnny are still working on a new SOKO disc that he said would be out this year.
So DEFINTLEY go check out Greg while you can Patrick (and anyone else). I hope that SOKO will be able to tour to promote the disc when it comes out.

For all of y'all in SoCal...Greg will be playing at Molly Malone's on South Fairfax (in LA) on May 23rd. Too bad I'm out of school, or I'd bring along a nice new Canon XL-1 to tape him. I do, however, have a wonderful DAT recorder that is mine and is always with me whenever I go to concerts...
Oh yeah, and the Chapman Stick rules! I don't own one yet, but I know how to play one (a friend of mine's dad taught me). It's the bestest instrument in the whole wide world!
