Posted - 11/08/2009 : 01:16:18 AM TR3 - much like all the funk, skanky jazziness, r&b infested hendrix/page, over the top groovatiousness direct from places like the C&O circa 1984 only to see - Elmo on the stage, jivin' sister fanny with the band - leaves and then comes back only this time with Winnie the Pooh (donning gas mask no less) and your looking into your glass of wine wondering who put a mickey in there?!! Yet somehow they belonged perfectly up there and we all just laughed and boogied til our speakers blew. RIP Johnny Gilmore. RIP Leroi Moore. Rock on Tim Reynolds. You are a soul of souls - an old soul with a fiery youthfulness that burns deep. You are so inspiring Tim. Thank you thank you thank you and forever boogie out with TR3 (and all else) my man. One day we will hang and catch up on old times and new. |
