Well our return to St Louis' Finale was AMAZING! Prolly the best performances of TouR so far. Could have helped that the crowd was amazingly polite, yet enthusiastic. Both shows were fantastic. Sadly, our usual St Louis taper did not make it so the shows were not recorded. I am sure they will live in my mind for someTIMe to come. You may remember I had issues the last TIMe we were here and I have to admit I was less than excited at our return engagement. Well, new staff seems to have made the difference. Smooth as silk, a delightful evening all the way around and for the full effect of this comment to mean something you would have had to have seen the me arrive with a very large chip on my shoulder in anticipation of the worst, or at least a replay of my grief at the last TIMe we played here. I will spare you the gory details. LOL The performance last TIMe were also great but I went thru such hell personally as the TM that it soured the experience for me. Quite the opposite this TIMe. Another lesson in contrasts. LOL First let me thank Ryan and Drew for taking such exceptional care of us and truly making us and TR's family feel welcome. They really went above and beyond and we all really appreciate their efforts. Finale has made my list of places I love to play. TR had alot of family in attendance and I think the "Reynolds MOJO" in the room really fired TR up. Some amazing performance tonite. The stand-outs to me were the first set closer Stream which TR played at breakneck speed. Rew and I were behind the stage with our jaws on the ground. We've heard it fast before but this was otherworldly. I think the other was "Ocean" where TR incorporated the stage to amazing effect. Don't know if I can explain it and do it justice but I will try. Anyone who has seen TR play this song may remember that he does a little stomp/"Hey" thing during the song. This has become pretty common, but tonite after the stomp TR discovered the boomy possibilities of the stage and began to stamp out a rhythm on the stage thru the entire song. It was unique and unbelieveable. I mentioned it to TR after the set and he said that is the drum beat he invisions when he hears the song in his head. Straight 8 I think he called it, or something like that. Very Kewl! The song took on a whole new vibe with TR's heavy foot stomping. TR said the stage was perfect for it. LOL So without further ado, here are the setlists(TR says he thinks he followed them pretty closely but added something to the first set. He told me what it was and I said "ah, yes I remember you playing that." Sadly, whatever it was now escapes me 4 hours later. Sorry!):

Well, I have to agree with Fluffy on this one. This was one heck of a show. I was only able to get tickets to the second show, but from out side, I caught one of my favorite songs, Stream. It was incredible. Simply incredible. The second show was equally as good. Tim played one of my favorites Kundalini. You could tell Tim was "amp’d" being in front of his hometown crowd. He brought a ton of energy to the stage.

If you ever need to see one of the greatest guitar players, catch a Tim show. Even if you have to drive 18+ hours, it will blow your mind. The finger work and the precision is just phenomenal. To hear it is one thing, to witness it is another!

BTW, Fluffy once again thanks for everything, you guys have to get that tour up north!
