Posted - 01/30/2007 : 5:24:48 PM Hey all, I didn't knock myself unconscious this TIMe but the Coach House seems to be becoming my bad luck charm. LOL To bad, we always have such a great show there and the staff is so wonderful. Guess you have to take the bad with the good. This TIMe my cell phone was stolen from the dressing room. Talk about a major inconvenience for a TouR manager. Never found out what happened to it but I am back up and running now, minus all my phone numbers. What a pain in the ass. Anyway, it was another wonderful show with no issues about the length of the set and TR laid it out. Just wanted to mention that the opener that nite was amazing. We all 3 really enjoyed them. They were called Whister. I really think you guys should check them out. Aside from my cell phone, it was a great evening and performance. Here is the setlist as it appeared in front of TR:
As I Fun A Dream Captain Gold Fish Ohio Betrayal Delicate Truth Che Indoctrinate - Spit -------------------------------- High In The Waist Ancestors Hands Full Doom ---------------------------------- Sanity Chatterbox Blowin Thru This Body Pretty Fast ---------------------------------- Revolution All Around Ocean Hold On ---------------------------------- Snake Souls Radar Gas ------------------------------------- Stream Whole Lotta Wood
This show was recorded(audio) but I have yet to be able to check the recording and see how it came out. Will let you know when that happens. |

Well, as I was back at the bar talking to a cool dude I met at the show, he jumped up and declared a GIANT RAT just ran across the floor, out out by the entrance.
I agree with Fluffy that the 1st band was good, but he forgot to mention that we agreed the 2nd band was the worst "band" we'd ever heard. It was a local band compiled of a bunch of annoying, probably rich, OC high school kids under the name "Acoustic Vibrations". and they apparently invited every equally annoying teenager they knew to watch them. It was actually so bad that the Coach House turned the lights on, about 5 songs into their set, which gave them hint the night was over for them. Throught the rest of the night I kept seeing security tossing the underage teenagers out for trying to drink, and probably just for being asses.
As for Tim, he seemed in great spirits, talking and joking around a lot. The encore was only Stream, played at the request of a fan, and Whole Lotta Love was not played.
Sorry, no pictures tonight. and that still really sucks about your phone Fluffy. I blame those kids from that 2nd band! |

Posted - 01/30/2007 : 5:32:23 PM Great review, Fluffy. That's a bummer about the cell phone. People suck.
I hate to point things like this out...but the band's name was "Whistler".
I'm looking forward to reading some of the other reviews... |
