Sorry for the delay,

The exact setlists should be posted by Fluffy today, but they have been pretty standard as to what's been played in 2006... mostly new songs... Che, Betrayal, Hands Full, Ocean, The Truth, etc... although tonight Jemez made a nice return, and Tim played "Turn It Into Love" at the request of a fan during the show. TR into'ed the song by saying, "it's a simple little three part song with a little harmonics". Haha, yeah right Tim. He also said the song was about being mad at his Dad.

The crowd was a little smaller than last year at the Mint, and no celebrity sightings this time, but the crowd was pretty quiet and respectful, and seemed to be a mix of fans, and people seeing Tim for the first time. I even heard one guy run off to the side and start calling people on his cell about how amazing Tim was. Oh wait, did I mention the two crazy drunk (possibly on 267 other drugs) girls that were dancing their asses off the whole show? They were pretty entertaining, and actually seemed to pump up the crowd a bit. After the show, one of them even got up on stage and started dancing. I took a picture of her, and when the flash went off, she returned the favor and flashed me back... geez.

If the Ocean Had It's Way was played with a lot of energy, almost as a hard rock song, with Tim playing very hard, and dancing a lot while playing.

Finally, as I mentioned in the Flying V post, Tim had his "new girlfriend" as he called it with him, a Gibson Flying V. Originally I guess he thought the room was too small to play electric, but he decided to do Snake at the encore, and the crowd was really into the electric, and wanted more, but unfortunately, he had already gone late and was out of time

I only took a few pictures as the lighting was rough, I'll try to post them ASAP...

Arthen, wish you would have been there in person, there wasn't really seating this time, it was just standing room in front of the stage, there were a few booths and random tables to the side, but they were reserved.

Hey all, The Mint was a lovely TouR opener. TR had a great soundcheck and was really excited to performing live. The audience was enthusiatic, albiet a bit smaller than last TIMe, but they had taken out all the tables in the middle of the room so it prolly only seemed smaller with more space for moving. Chris the soundman did an awesome job with the show and Dena and crew took awesome care of us for our 2nd trip thru The Mint. As I said before, a great starter for this run of shows. Here is the setlist as printed in front of TR. Kevin can prolly tell you better what was played. Unfortunately, we ran out of TIMe so most of the stuff toward the end was not visited. We were not aware of strict curfew until the very last minute. This kinda bugged me as I would have liked to know before 15 minutes before they needed us off stage. Noone mentioned it during the advance or even at soundcheck. Chris told us we were good until 12:30 which turned out to be the TIMe they actually needed the club cleared so we needed to be done with enuf TIMe to clear the club. It's a shame because TR was really into it and prolly could have rocked it out some more had there been TIMe. It's OK in the grand scheme as the next few nites afforded him more opportunity.

Systematic Random Space War

I was there in spirit Kev! Glad to hear it was a pretty good show, did you get a place to sit or were you standing? And Snake for the encore?! Man, I would kill to hear electric TR in any form.
