Posted - 10/13/2006 : 03:19:28 AM So it was a great kick off to this run of dates. Tonites show was SOLD OUT! YEAH!! and what a great crowd it was. Remember, I wasn't here with TR and (c)Rew when they played here last TIMe, I was in Europe with The Machine. I hear that the area was quite a bit different than last TIMe they were here. Apparently last TIMe they were here was right after a hurricane and the town was still recovering. The power had only come on a few days before the show and when T'n'T arrived there were still piles of debris everywhere. Much like I expect New Orleans will be when we arrive. But I digress, so with the conditions here last TIMe the turn-out was a little light so it was nice to see a full house tonite. TR sprung some new songs on the eager audience. It was an early nite for us as there was no opener, just TR. Right into the MEAT.......

Sweat was not played, instead Whole Lodda Luv was. The new songs were great. The show was recorded. I have the DAT. TR introed into Stream with a teaser of Skinny White Clouds.
The room was fabulous! I had built a mental picture of the venue in my head based on false assumptions and was pleasantly surprised to see how incredibly nice the club was and they took great care of us. Treated us like family, which feels great when you are on the road. Thanx to Roland, Russell, Brian, and John for making us feel welcome. We look forward to a return engagement. |
