Can I just say how much I love the food and the people at the Blue Gator. As always they took impeccable care of us and for that I am very appreciative. They even took to the streets like carnys shouting "Tim Reynolds...Tonite!" drumming up business. Believe it or not IT WORKED! The streets of Athens were jam-packed as I had never seen them. It had always seemed to be to be kind of a sleepy lil town but I was shocked at how it was bustling with activity and college students. We had a very good crowd, albiet a bit smaller than last TIMe we were there but apparently school had just started back up a few days before and there hadn't been alot of TIMe to get the word out to the returning students. Despite the size of the crowd, their enthusiasm more than made up for the numbers. It was a great show with Mike Genovese opening again. It was great to have him playing with us again. What a nice guy. I also got got meet gravedigger for the first TIMe and hopefully he will post a review on this thread as well. Sadly our taper from the nite before did not make it so this show was not recorded. TR's setlist looked like this:

Instant Pansquirmia
Hug
Hidden Variables
Indoctrinate
To Touch
Time Has Scold Me(Up)
Betrayal -> Fillow Pucker
-----------------------------
Vantage Point
Hands Full
Doom
Letting Go
Here Comes The Sun
Ancestors
-------------------------------
Phallocentric Dogwear
Noble So and So
Loose Interp
More Unusual Sonic Ice Cream From Inner Space......
---------------------------------
Ocean
War Must End
Stream
Hold On
-----------------------------------
Noise Bath - Cold Sweat

I planned on doing a review post show, but I've been having major computer problems.
In the days leading up to the show i did my best to inform people TIM would be at OU...however due to it being the first weekend back a lot of people had parties going on and such so they didn't make it out. Their lose. It still had a pretty large and good crowd all things considered.
I'm one of the many TR fans that first feel in love with TIMs music through the D+T recordings. However, it wasn't Luther college for me. It was the first time I heard Letting Go on a recording. So pre show Tim comes strolling into the Blue Gator. Few seem to say anything, so I said Hey Tim and asked for To Touch Yearning(my favorite song id never heard live) and Letting Go. It was a true pleasure to get both of those and even better to hear Letting Go -> Here Comes the Sun. Especially after having TIM say it was by request.
Hidden Variables, to me, was the biggest surprise of the night. It really got the crowd into the show. I was around a large group of freshman girls who all asked the name of the song after it was played. I think TIM even realized the crowd really liked that one as he said the name of the song after it was played.
Some idiot was yelling for #41 at some random points to which Tim replied 666 and the rest of the crowd yelled 'shut up' which was nice to see.

Last thoughts...this will probably be my last TR show in Athens, since its my last quarter here. But i'm sure whatever city i end up in will be somewhere Tim plays, so it will not be the last time I see him. But I'd like to thank TIM for playing my request and thank both him and Fluffy for coming to Athens, since it's hardly a large city.
