Posted - 06/05/2006 : 7:41:47 PM SSFH posted this great review on another website. I liked it so I am reposting it here, hope he doesn't mind: quote: WOW Totally amazing show last night! This was the first time I have seen Tim without Dave and I have to say that I am a new follower! I was blown away with the sheer artistic tallent that Tim has. The set list was extensive and diversified. The club, Red Devil, was small and comfortable, yet very hot. The crowd was your typical San Fran crowd. Some there for music while others were there to get blasted and to "be seen". Big thanks to Fluffy for hanging out with me before the show to talk. Thanks for sharing some stories from the road (i.e. red bull). Also, I got to meet Tim back stage!!! Another wonderful addition to the night. I wish that I was not so lost for words when I met him though. No matter how many times fans say it, Tim really is a humble person. It was funny because I said "I really appriciate what you do, your an amazing artist!" and he reasponded by saying "Im not an artist." I was just blown away! Amazing, thats all I really can say about last night.
Also, I was able to tape the whole show. So keep your eyes open for the DVD BnP's and torrents!

And thanks for any kind of description at all Robin, it helps whet the appetite.
you taping?
Unfortunately not. That was one aspect of concert going I never got into. Don't know enough about the technology, the machinery, etc. It also always sounded like an expensive habit I didn't want to get into. |

Posted - 04/30/2006 : 1:04:26 PM What a great show, It's always difficult for me to put into mere words what is so much more, but here goes. Marcus's opening set was beautiful he has such a great voice. And is a genuinely nice person. He really is so talented, and a great opener for TIM. Always a pleasure to see him. TIM.. what can I say. His voice continues to get richer every TIMe I hear him sing. He was incredible considering the amount of chatter in the venue. I loved the venue, very kewl and beautiful, complete with fog machine. The highlight for me was his cover of "Big Sky Country". I don't really have words to describe except that he somehow made it his, without taking away from what it was when it was Chris's. The encore with Marcus was awesome, they really got going and it's great to see them play off each other so well. As always I am awed by TR's gift, and grateful he has chosen to share it with us. Peace, Robin

Posted - 04/29/2006 : 7:03:51 PM Amazing show! Marcus was a really good choice for an opener.
I was able to tape the WHOLE show, Marcus and Tim.
The encore with Marcus and Tim was very very cool.
Also, got to meet Tim. A very humble person and very personal at the same time.
All in all and amazing night!
Fluffy, thank you so much for your time that you spent with me last night. I am really thankful!
The DVD's of this show will be out and spreading as soon as John gets them finished. Look for them to be spread on here, Antsmarching.org, and some other Bit torrent pages. The video and sound are amazing! I am really happy with the quality. Except for that part where I kicked the tripod for somereason. Other than that the lighting and sound were perfect on the 2nd floor.
Cheers! |
