So i guess Fluffy can predict the future. Last nights show was the most amazing thing i have ever seen/heard. Not only was the crowd AMAZINGLY responsive and somewhat familiar with some of TR's music, but Tim was the most entertaining i have EVER seen him. If you are getting ready to see a show from this tour you should be happy, because so far, Tim seems to be on fire. I am not overexagerating when i say these things. My main example is this:
So Tim played a great show with a finale of his cover of All You Need is Love in which EVERYONE sang along(while Tim smirked from the response). Then all was well and the encore was over and he left...but no one else left. Everyone was still watching the stage intently as Rew was beginning to break everything down, and then the chants started. "TIM TIM TIM TIM!!!" everyone was screaming and banging on chairs, and out came Tim for a second encore and a song that i really cant remember due to me just being elated. I can't wait for Fluffy to comment about this show. To me it seemed like it was one of the best..ever. it was truly entertaining and inspiring. THANK YOU FOR AN AWESOME NIGHT!!!!!!!!!~$*@#)FJWOIUF@#$(JFW(*!)$*#% |

Posted - 04/20/2006 : 11:33:08 PM Just wanted to say Hey, Im new here but have watched the boards here for a while. This was my 2nd Tim show, the first was last year in Austin. I just want to say hey to everyone and let those who don't already know that this show was amazing. Che was awesome, Tims Zep cover was cool as shit, and during Stream, I yelled for Kashmir, which Tim went right into. (I like to think it was because of me). Anyways, just want to thank those who keep this site going and all those tabbers out there. Take care, keep on jammin. |

yeah I dont think so, Tim play "Cryptorchild" with Dave Matthews back in 1997-02-02. dont know if you consider that as a cover from Tim or not. |

Posted - 04/09/2006 : 2:54:31 PM This show was even better than Lubbock. Sit down crowd, noone left after Stream and the audience was always attentive. Should make for a great recording of a great performance. It really seemed like a TR audience. Lots of great responses to TR songs as well as the expected response to covers. I felt like alot of folks in the room knew his music. They were so responsive of a crowd it brought about a second unplanned encore. There was a standing ovation, noone started to walk out and they just kept cheering until TR came back for another encore. It was great audience and a wonderful nite after a long ass drive. Nice when the show more than makes up for what we went thru to do it. Luckily after that show it was only a short drive to San Marcos and we were able to sleep in and relax before the Lucy's show. Brian and John treated us great and we got to see Brian again the next nite in San Marcos at the other club he owns. See the other thread for my review of that show.

Quickly, San Antonio was even better than Lubbock and the show was recorded well on Pro-Tools 7.0 with room mics and from the board so we are waiting on a mixed down Matrix Mix. I will type more when I get back tonite but right now I am on my way out the door for soundcheck in San Marcas.
