Fluffy Posted - 02/28/2006 : 5:49:11 PM
There should be some shows with that track circulating soon! Keep watching for them! Glad I could clear it up!
Emily Posted - 02/24/2006 : 5:50:01 PM
Thanks for clearing that up Fluffy. I knew TR was doing the accustic tour so I was wondering how he would play it. Like if he played the whole song accustic or if he just played the accustic section.

So Emily, here is the deal with TR and ToRch of Uncertainty on this TouR. Basically he is playing what he calls "the MEAT" of it. He is hits all the major riffs and themes in the song, but since he is performing it on the acoustic guitar solo, he can obviously only visit in an interpretive kind of way. You would definitely recognize it as ToRch but it obviously isn't as it appears on PU. Erich says it is "a really kewl interpretation". Not too worry, at least 1 or 2 of the performances of it have been recorded so you will get to hear it. Thats the skinny!!

Fluffy Posted - 02/22/2006 : 04:02:15 AM
Yes Arthen, as I mentioned in a post to the email list a while ago TR was forgoing the electric to work on new acoustic material and acoustic versions of some of his electric material. He also played From This World tonite in Grand Rapids.(see setlist)
Arthen Posted - 02/21/2006 : 7:29:42 PM
These are still acoustic shows, right? So he played Big Dick, From This World, et al acoustic?

Yeah Tim was running a DD-5 and DD-6, sounds amazing, he said it is kinda the same set up he used on Monday nights at Miller's. Never done archive.org, but whatever way everyone from this board can see I'll do, the show was amazing.
