Hey everyone, first time posting, long time TIM & Dave fan. Tonight will be my first Timmy Reynolds solo show. I've seen TIM & Dave play together a few times and Tim has completley blown me away with his talent. I can't wait to see what his sound is really like. I've noticed some cover tunes being played on this tour. Does he ever pull out any Jimi Hendrix covers?

Yes, the show was fantastic. I was completely blown away by his creativity and personality. I won't be missing another one of his shows, I can tell you that. My friend took some fantastic pictures. This one was my favorite.

I saw the Charlotte show on Friday. I knew he was good, but Jesus Christ! The different dimentions of guitar being played at the same time just blew me away. Great venue, great show, great... Didn't get to meet him. This was my first time hearing his electric stuff. I heard him w/ Dave and went out and bought stream, but I did not know he had some metal in him. I still prefer the acoustic stuff. Great covers of "Here Comes the Sun" and "All you need is love."

Bluemountain, I'll second PJK with Tim coming back to the Philadelphia area...PLEASE!!! I'm going through some serious withdrawl.

First of all, I think we all want more Hendrix and Gabriel covers, at least I do in my boyish heart of hearts.

Second of all, WORLD TOUR! Ha ha ha!

Hey BlueMountain, two things, first as far as Tim is concerned think NORTHEAST, hehehehe (Philadelphia area ) Hint Hint Hint

Secondly, you are Cory Harris's agent too, right? I drove up to Wilkesbarre last August to hear him (and to see Houston) at the Jazz Cafe. He was awesome, as were Houston and Johnny! Loved the show.

Thanks for the replies. Ok from this point forward, no more Timmy. I'll definantly have to get there early to try and get a request in. If anyone is going tonight I'll be the guy with the blue Hendrix portrait shirt. I'll be sure and post my thoughts after the show for sure. Thanks again for the insight.

Peace.

Zeus, yes TR plays Hendrix covers. Lately it's been If 6 Was 9, but he also sings a part to Hear My Train occasionally, as an intro to another song (From This World). He has been known to play other Hendrix stuff, but I doubt on this tour you'll get more than either of those. He's been known to play these songs:
- Manic Depression
- If 6 Were 9
- Who Knows
- Are You Experienced
- I Hear my Train a Commin’
- Fire

And bluemountain, I don't know if I'd consider it a "joke" between TIM and Dave... I'm about 91% sure TR hates it when Dave calls him that too, but it's one of those things he allows because they're friends. Since most of us aren't personal friends of TR, we don't have and shouldn't take that liberty. I have this friend I've known for 23 or so years, always called him Bradley. He goes by Brad now, and hates when others call him Bradley. But he goes by Bradley to me, and that's cool between us.

So yeah. Enjoy the show! Wish it was me going!

and bluemountain, may I contact you about getting TR back near me again sometime soon?

Hey folks....tonight in Charlotte should be fun. I'm Tim's agent and I haven't seen him in a couple of years but he is doing vocals on allot of tunes and even going back in the catelog to some TR3 tunes. There will be no DMB material at all and ....I have never heard anyone call him Timmy except Dave and that is just a little joke between them. I've know him over 20 years and he is a kind and wonderful guy some don't be intimidated. Ohh yea, he is also a musical genious

Hey Zeus, welcome!

Very happy to hear you are going to see Tim tonight. Please let us know what you thought of the show tomorrow! BTW as another newbie just found out here, please don't call Tim "Timmy" he hates it. Not sure why, but we call him Tim because that is what he prefers.

Also, even though Fluffy isn't with him, if you hang out after the show, or if you get there early, you can meet Tim and hang out with him. He is very humble and is very "fan friendly." You might see an intimidating dude wearing a black hat, spike bracelets etc, that's Rew and he is a real nice person, so don't be afraid to talk with him. I speak from experience, I was SO intimidated by him for the longest TIMe, about my 3rd TIM show I met him and found out he has a heart of gold. Just thought I would give you the heads up on it.

Again, Enjoy and please stick around here. Our little family could use some new members!
