Since I'm still lamenting about not allowing myself to have gone(I'm so damned responsible), I'm curious to hear about the show. Also, I'm seriously considering trying to make it to the shows in Seattle since there are two, road trip anyone?
Peace, Robin

I made it to both bay area shows...

The Sweetwater show was excellent as it always is. It's a really good space to "hear" Tim play, since the tables makes it a somewhat intimate show. He was really shining on the acoustic songs, played a lot of my old favorites, then started with his new stuff. I really like Indoctrinate.

The Boom Boom Room show was meh as it always is. It's a really good place to "see" tim play, since the blabbering idiots making all the noise will prevent you from hearing it well. And if they don't, then the sound guy will. I recall the place getting so hot that some drunkard passed out into Fluffy's arms. I spent most of the show and the back entrance with Fluffy listening in, because there was a cloud of people's breath lingering above. Still, it was a great performance. Tim seemed to really be feeding off the crowd. He played more electric than he did the night before, and for some reason when he brings out the electric a lot of people leave. I spent the last 30 minutes or so comfortably leaning on the side of the stage watching him do his thing. He played Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love with the pagan underdogs and it was absolutely incredible, it was as if Page was up there himself playing his solos.

I took pictures at the sweetwater...I'll get them online when I get a chance.
