Hi, I hope you read this, Fluffy. I have some issues I really need to talk to you about. I tried sending you an e-mail but it was returned saying your mail box is full. Please reply or send me an e-mail because I really need to talk to you.

Thanks.

Ouch, really sorry to hear about all of that Fluffy. The problem I am having is a personal problem on the boards, but doesn't need immediate attention. If you can just e-mail or post saying that you have time and ability to communicate, that would be great.

I also hope the rest of the tour goes uneventful offstage and more onstage.

Sorry to hear all your bad news. I have to ideas that might mitigate the issue in the future:

1) Google Docs -- you can start an account on Google.com, then upload your stuff (.doc, .xls, .pdf) to their website and access it from any Internet-connected computer. This is known as cloud computing and I have found that it totally rocks.

2) Do you Twitter by phone yet? If not, I'd register with them so that you can tweet by txt whenever you don't have access to your laptop. It's a great emergency tool. And you can set your phone to receive tweets, but that can get pricey so I don't do it.

love and hugs from your sis!
teri :)

p.s. And thanks to PJK for letting me know you are having issues!

OMG Fluffy! I can't imagine, REALLY I CAN'T! The weather was no doubt stressful, but it is the kind of thing you just go with the flow on, same with the van problems. They are a pain but hey, what can you do? But the computer, now that would have put me OVER the edge and that is what you REALLY have my smpathy for! OMG!!! All the venue, show info lost! A tour managers worst nightmare! I am so sorry that happened. Too bad Teri wasn't around, maybe she could have helped you retrieve some things.

TONS of good tour vibes going out to you and TR3! I tell ya Fluffy, you could make millions on your memoir! Life of a tour manager! The weather part made me think of your story at Pikes Peak from years ago. Crazy!

Sorry for being out of touch and unreachable but "life" has conspired against me since the beginning of this TouR and now I am having to play catch up. You can't even imagine.

First, TR3 purchased a van for TouRing. Our plan was to leave OBX, drive to Denver to arrive in TIMe to pick up TR from the airport the nite before the gig in Boulder. He was flying in from New Orleans. Well if you saw the news at all that week we drove right into the heart of the ice storm that paralized the country. What was supposed to be a 30 hour road trip ended up taking us 44 hours. We arrived at 7:30 am the day of the gig in Boulder. TR's flight the nite before was postponed 3 TIMes before being cancelled and we were not even sure he was going to make it for the Boulder show. After checking into the hotel I proceeded to run necessary errands for tire chains(required in this part of the world to be in your vehicle whether you are using them or not), music store etc etc. All the while waiting to hear about TR's flight and needing to be ready to drive BACK to Denver airport to get him. He finally arrived at about 2:30 PM about 2 hrs before soundcheck. He had to sleep in the airport in Dallas. My sleeping schedule since OBX:

Sunday: worked all day getting ready to leave. Planned to leave at 8 AM on Monday. Was up all nite Sunday nite til 7 AM when I made the mistake of laying down for a minute. Fell asleep until 11 AM(4 hours of sleep) Left OBX around Monday noon EST arrived Boulder Wednesday 9:30 AM EST(45 1/2 hrs later) and then was up from 7:30 AM MST until 2 AM MST(another 18 1/2 hrs) when I finally got to go to bed again after the Boulder show. YEAH!!!

Next morning come out to a DEAD battery on the new van. YEAH! Still under warranty so it has to go to a dealership so we didn't void our warranty. Have you ever tried to schedule an appointment with a dealership? Not a fun task while you are on the road with no days off until Sunday. Got a jumpstart at the hotel, went and bought jumper cables and for the Thur, Fri, Sat had to jumpstart the vehicle every TIMe we needed to start it. How frustrating. Finally, after the gig in Denver on Friday nite we got up early and hit a dealership on the way to Colorado Springs because on Sunday we were heading into the mountains toward Aspen. No way I wanted to head into the mountains with something wrong with the van. Got the van a new battery and clean bill of health and headed to Colorado Springs just in TIMe for load-in.

Saturday nite, my laptop CRASHED. The short version is I was without any advance info, directions, contact info, show info etc etc etc for the next 7 days. Imagine trying to do your job and be on TIMe, on schedule when all the info about those things are gone. FUUUUUN!

Needless to say I got thru but now I am WAAAAAY behind in bookkeeping, advancing future shows and I still have no Microsoft Word so I can't open alot of things on my computer. Let's just say it's been hell since Monday Jan 26th. I am SOOOO far behind it's not even funny. Not only am I trying to catch up but I also have to do my normal day to day tasks. We already know how busy I was now I just need to squeeze in AOT more as well. Oh joy!

With no computer my email box filled up and anyone trying to contact me got their emails returned including clubs trying to advance. No one had any way of knowing what happened. One of the folks from Blue Moutain Artists just found out today about my computer crash. So I will be around when I can but I have SOOOO much to do I will prolly not be around much. Sorry to anyone who got missed thru all of that but there was nothing I could do. I am trying to whittle down the email box from the 1003 emails I found when I got my laptop back yesterday.

Ohhhhh, and lets not forget everything I lost as well. Fun Fun Fun! Anyone who knows me will know how frustrating this situation has been for me. I do not like to be or appear disorganized. hehe Let's hope the rest of the TouR goes a bit more smoothly. PULEEZE!

Hey Nick, just wanted to say that if you don't hear from Fluffy for a bit not to take it personally. He often times has a full mailbox and it can be a LONG TIMe before he has time to answer, especially when he is on tour. That is what happens when one is so popular which is something I have never been nor will ever be. LOL

In the past I thought I did something wrong because he wouldn't answer my email, I learned not to think that way because he really tries to answer emails, he just gets so many of them it is hard to keep up. BTW, a full mailbox is 1,000 emails! Don't know about you, but I have been away from my computer for over a week and didn't have 1,000 emails waiting for me.

Of course, if he responded disregard this post.
