Fluffy, any idea of which albums/songs he's been listening to? Is it just a coincidence that he started playing the Flying V a la Jim James? As a fan of both, I'm curious.

Posted - 02/01/2009 : 10:36:49 AM Hell yea! Evil Urges is a great record. I would def recommend TR--and anyone else--listen to "Z" if he likes this one.
Here's a radio broadcast--just Jim James and guitarist Carl Broemel. Jim plays the omnichord on a couple tracks.

Fluffy, I know this comes up all the time, but can you keep us updated as to what you guys are listening to on the road? Always interesting stuff.

Posted - 01/31/2009 : 1:01:09 PM Evil Urges in the one he has been playin the hell out of. I love the song "Highly Suspicious" the best. I love the whole album as well. They definitely had NOTHING to do with TR's affinity for the "V". He has loved that guitar since his youth.
