Hey Everyone, Lots on the horizon for TR3, but in the meanTIMe, TR will be touring this entire summer with DMB. (Following message sent out thru Warehouse):

We are pleased to announce that Tim Reynolds, longtime friend and collaborator of Dave Matthews Band, will be performing with DMB on tour this summer. As announced earlier this spring, Tim has been working with Dave Matthews Band in the studio on their as-yet-untitled next studio album. Rashawn Ross and Butch Taylor will also be on tour with DMB again this summer, rounding out the all-star guest list! It is certain to be a memorable touring season.

(Now back to Fluffy)

Of course this means that shows & TouRing for TR3 will be very limited for the summer. We hope to be back in full-swing come Aug/Sept. The good news is that we have three TR3 shows this week which lead up to TR3 going into the recording studio to record a brand new TR3 studio CD. YAY!!!! Hopefully that CD will be ready for a fall release to coincide with TR3 hitting the road again. The 3 shows this week are as follows:

Sadly, the Satellite Ballroom show will be the last TR3 show there as it is closing this month and we are sad to see it go. So if you are in the C-ville area come by and check out your last opportunity to see TR3 play this venue. Also it will be a special nite as Chapman Stick master, Greg Howard will be opening the show for TR3 in C-ville and opportunities to see Greg Howard perform live are getting rare. So don't miss this once in a lifeTIMe opportunity if you are in the near. TR3 are very excited to have Greg opening this show.

Beyond that, as I said before, TR will be spending the summer on the road with DMB but we have managed to keep TR3 active a bit during that TIMe. There will be a special performance by TR3 between the 7/2 Raleigh, NC & 7/4 Charleston, SC DMB shows. TR3 will be performing the following gig:

TR3's summer includes 2 spots opening for DMB as well. TR3 will be opening the following DMB shows:

Tuesday 08/05/08 Cincinnati, OH Riverbend Music Center
and also
Thursday 08/07/08 Virginia Beach, VA Verizon Wireless VA Beach Amphitheater

TR3 is very excited & thankful for the opportunity to open for DMB but not as excited as they are about getting into the recording studio. YAY! YAY! & YAY!

So TR is going to be a very busy man this summer. Hopefully you will have an opportunity to catch him at one of his many gigs this summer. We have already started booking shows for TR3 for the fall. Of course I will be sending out updates but if you want to check yourself for updates you can do so at the following link:

http://www.timreynolds.com/tour/

Also, if you are interested in seeing TR3 perform in your area I would suggest contacting TR's booking agent, Blue Mountain Artists and letting them know now as they are getting underway to plan TR3's fall TouR schedule. Blue Mountain Artists can be found on the web at the following address: www.bluemountainartists.com

THANX for all the interest and support. Hope to see you out on the road very soon with TR3.

To my knowledge it was not recorded. It is possible that Karl recorded it and I just don't know about it. I was not aware of any recording. In fact, Karl contacted me via email asking if I could supply him with the setlist from that nite so I doubt he recorded it or he prolly wouldn't have needed to get the setlist from me. If you would like to contact him and make sure he didn't record you can find Karl at:

I got a text from a friend who saw Tim sit in with one of Dan's bands at a bar in Kitty Hawk on the 18th, FYI.

It was actually the Karl Werne band that Dan also plays in. TR decided at the last minute to hop on over and sit in even though he had to be up early to leave the next morning. It was an awesome show. The line-up included:

Karl Werne(guitar)
Curtis Eli(guitar)
Tim Reynolds(guitar)
Eddie Williams(sax)
Dan Matier(drums)

You may recognize Eddie's name as he played with TR & Carter way back in the Secret's days. Also of note, the show was at Ocean Boulevard which is the first place TR ever played with Dan while sitting in with Karl Werne when he moved to OBX and Dan introduced TR to Mick. And the rest is history as they say or at least that's how the legend goes. hehe

The setlist that was as follows:

Peter Gabriel "Solsbury Hill"
Jeff Buckley "Hallelujah"
Police "S.O.S." feat. Laura Martier on vocals
John Lennon "Imagine"
(Bart Howard's) "Fly Me to the Moon"
Instrumental Intro(feat. Eddie Williams on flute)>>>>
Karl Werne "Time"
Karl Werne "Stand Up"
--------------------------------------
Jackson Browne "Somethin' Fine"
Stevie Wonder "Reggae Woman"
Brian Morris "All I Need Is (Laura)"
Sarah McLachlan "Arms of the Angels" feat. Laura Martier on vocals
John Hiatt "Memphis In The MeanTIMe"
Dave Matthews "Xmas Song"
Karl Werne "Cause"

Is there any possible way to get a recording of this show? This would be amazing to hear...what a set!

I am so excited to finally have a TR3 experience coming up in a week at Riverbend!!! My husband (Bill) and I were at the Indy DMB show last Friday night, fortunate to be in the front row and our attention was focused on Tim much of the time. He commanded it! Bill has been talking for the last hour or so tonight about how great Tim's performance was. I wish he was coming with me to Cincinnati - he does too! No doubt he'll be there with me when TR3 makes it to Indy some day, hopefully soon!

Nothing has been talked about or scheduled but I don't want to rule out the possibility. Who knows if TR will feel like doing a gig on his break he may just want to hang with his family who he obviously hasn't had alot of TIMe to spend with them this summer. Of course something could come up last minute. I know Mick & Dan would jump at an opportunity to do a show or at least a rehearsal with TR if the opportunity presents itself. Will have a better idea once I talk to TR when he gets back.

I was beyond stoked that TR3 is opening for DMB in VA Beach. Now I get to see Tim in NC, SC, WI and WA, too.
Stoked doesn't even begin to cover it...

I guess it wasn't meant to be. Thanks for the reply Fluffy.

Hey walkinblu, That show was booked much earlier this year before it was confirmed that TR would spending the summer TouRing with DMB. Sadly it had to be cancelled as it was in conflict with the DMB touring schedule. We had it listed on TR's website for quite awhile but once it was confirmed that we would not be able to make it I took it down. I guess the festival has not gotten around to removing it from their website. Sorry for the confusion & I hope TR3 will make it back your way after TR is done with his commitment for the summer with DMB. Thanx for the interest and support and hope to see you at a TR3 show in the not-to-distant future in your area.

I saw that Tim Reynolds 3 is scheduled to appear on June 28th at The Lazy River Music Festival in Elgin Illinois. Any truth to that. I can't see on Tim's website that he's scheduled...but did see it on the festival's site.

Can anyone either confirm or deny that ?

Hey Fluffy!

Any word on when Tim will be back to doing solo TR stuff?

Hope all is well!

Peace.
