wondering if anyone can help me put a date to this show of Tim's I have ..it's the first show of Tims I downloaded in May 2001 (in mp3 format, not sure where I downloaded it) and I was just looking through some old discs I have and rediscoverd this beauty, if anyone can help me put a date to it, that would be most helpful :) I've been listening to it all day and haven't got bored of it yet! I do hope Tim finds his way back over the English waters soon, need to hear him rip the crap out of his guitar for a good few hours!

I've pasted the setlist below if this helps, but before he starts playing Tim says:

'Greetings earthlings, there's a spaceship landing can you hear it?'

01 - turn it into love
02 - as far as you can see
03 - metamorphosis
04 - the wayfarer
05 - hopeful heresy
06 - is anybody here (you are my sanity)
07 - decline in reason
08 - open up and let it in
09 - big blast of hot air (awesome intro)
10 - valley of flowers
11 - letting go
12 - stranger in a strained land
13 - do it yourself
14 - rheginos and the resurrection
15 - jemez rolling waves
16 - loose interpretations
17 - chatterbox
18 - kundalini bonfire
19 - protoplasm pulsar spasm

Cheers
Clare

Here two shows that stick to me from the way-back machine:

Awesome show, much different atmosphere from 2000's show at Stanhope.
Listen to Imaginary Time repeatedly...

Another good one. Some dude was actually selling it on Ebay back in 2001 when I traded him for it.

That show is no longer on the archive for some reason. As for format, MP3s don't phase me, I typically load my shows on my MP3 player in that format. Could you do a file transfer to me over AIM perhaps?

cheers SpaceMonkey, I've had a look on etree.org and searched through the setlists. It turned out to be this show:

Tim Reynolds 10/02/00

Does that Big Blast have an intro that sounds like he's scratching the strings with his fingernail? If so, I had that show a while back but lost it. I'm gonna check the archive and compare with your setlist...

Edit:

Would you be willing to make this available for download? I'd really, really love to snag that show again.

Yeh Arthen, it seems it's the same show, it's an awesome intro! And I only have the show in mp3 format, so there's not much point of me upping the show really when there probably is a flac or shn floating around
