How did everyone make out with seats?
sciphish Posted - 03/20/2007 : 2:19:07 PM
I know this is desperate. But did anyone get tickets to the show? Anyone willing to help another Tim fan out. I live in Boston and I plan on going to a party before and after for the "holiday" and definately wouldn't mind a tag along. If anyones interested let me know. thanks
sciphish Posted - 03/16/2007 : 12:48:07 AM
Thanks for the info, I actually didn't think of transportation yet.

When the tickets go on sale, does any one know if it's better to use ticketbastard, wait in line or call? For either getting tickets or better seats. Thanks for the help. Now all we need is Tim to come to Boston BY HIMSELF!!

Public Transportation
Amherst is approximately two hours from downtown Boston, two and a half hours from Logan Airport and three hours north of New York City. A number of companies provide transportation to and from Amherst.

By Air
The nearest airport is Bradley International Airport (Windsor Locks, CT) , which serves both Hartford, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts. Bradley is approximately an hour away; Logan Airport (Boston, MA) is two and a half hours away. Shuttle transportation from either airport is available (see "Shuttle Services" below).

Other airports within approximately two or two and a half hours from Amherst are Green Airport (Providence, RI), Manchester Airport (Manchester, NH) and Albany International Airport (Albany, NY).

By Bus
Peter Pan Bus Lines, in partnership with Greyhound, has regular service to Amherst. Call (800) 237-8747.

By Train

Amtrak has limited service to Amherst and extensive service to Springfield, Massachusetts, about 30 minutes away. If arriving in Springfield, transportation to Amherst is available through Peter Pan Bus Lines, (800) 237-8747, or by shuttle (see below).

Shuttle Services
Valley Transporter provides shuttle service between Amherst and nearby airports and train stations. Call (800) 872-8752 or (413) 253-1350 for information on rates, schedules and reservations.

Seemo Shuttle provides service in the Pioneer Valley and to Bradley, Logan and JFK airports. Call (800) 908-2829 or visit their Website to make reservations.

90 miles.
sciphish Posted - 03/15/2007 : 8:12:02 PM
I still think that the Tim camp should be able to sell SOME tickets to
the Tim fans. I mean, it's not like we're a bunch greedy bum-rushing
Dave fans. But i guess if they had any, there would be many more people
on the boards this time of year.

Sorry I'm kinda bitter about getting tickets. But the truth is, I will probably not make the Boston show (for lack of a ticket) and then get cleaned out by some college kid selling the ticket for the Mullins show. How far is Amherst from Boston?

So I hear TR and DM are doing a concert at UMASS in Amherst MA on April 21 at 7:30

Tickets available on Ticketbastard March 30th at noon.

Shhhhhhh I don't think TR fans are supposed to know about this, I don't think the DMB camp like us very much, so lets not let on that the word is out, hehehe
