Posted - 10/31/2006 : 11:10:47 PM people like to maintain the quality of the sound. When you transfer to a mp3, you loose quality that can not be brought back. |

Posted - 10/31/2006 : 03:37:47 AM I don't get it. Why is trading MP3 a bad thing?
Sorry to be clueless. |
Ranting Thespian |
Posted - 10/31/2006 : 12:37:32 AM I think it's ok to do MP3's if it's done between only one person and the other because of dial-up. No posting, nothing like that, just personal file sharing.
This would allow people to hear it, but not to get put into circulation.
Now posting full shows in mp3s for tons to download and trade and such, that's a bad thang. (I actualy tyed thang, wierd) |

Posted - 10/30/2006 : 9:56:23 PM I have high speed, and I personally download shows in MP3 that are only going right on my iPod, which most shows do nowadays. Those shows never leave my iPod or get burned to CD, and I would never trade them or give them out.
If I'm going to be burning a disc though, I'll get the lossless from dreamingtree.org, which is what I plan to do with the last 4 D&T shows if I ever get all this stuff done for work...
But, I do understand the general consensus of not posting full shows in MP3, since it could impact the trading community somewhere down the line. |

Posted - 10/30/2006 : 12:11:08 PM I believe that Fluffy did go to a couple of the D&T 2003 shows. He talked about how TR stopped drinking soda and water, it was when Tim was really sick. |

Posted - 10/30/2006 : 06:02:59 AM What a great show. I heard the tape version of crumbo. Great quality. Tim as usual, put a monster performance as well as Dave, who's getting back his voice.

Posted - 10/30/2006 : 01:17:31 AM hey, does fluffy ever go with Tim to D&T shows. I would think these would be very likely, since they are in the middle of a tr tour. |

Posted - 10/30/2006 : 12:01:38 AM thanks man!
I also always wonder why there has never been a second D&T live album. Also, during the last D&T tour, they filmed one of the concerts in full. I wonder what ever happened to that footage (I know audio from that tour was released on a companion cd for some devil). |

Posted - 10/29/2006 : 01:15:12 AM I really want to hear D&T/T&D do Down By the River.
You know with the whole thing D&T vs T&D, maybe they should create a name for themselves. Their own 2 person band name. Maybe the Acoustic Trailings.
anyone have ideas? |

Posted - 10/26/2006 : 12:46:23 PM I'm just about to fly out from Kansas for this show. My brother is flying out from Washington DC (I haven't seen him since Christmas) and we acted like a couple of giddy schoolgirls when we talked about the concert on the phone this week. I am just happy to be seeing TR in concert again. Plus I've never been to Vegas!! |

Posted - 10/14/2006 : 5:51:37 PM If anybody is looking for Vegoose at Night Dave and Time Tickets please E-mail or IM me. I have 2 extra tickets and am willing to sell them for under DMB Warehouse ticket prices at 115$ for the pair but that price is not set in stone. Let me know as soon as possible, should be a good show on the 27th of October at the MGM grand.

I hate Dave Matthews, he makes a Tim Reynolds ticket more than quadruple in cost . . .
I have to say, DMB/Dave are pretty reasonable compared to some acts today. Plus I feel good buying DMB/Dave tickets because so much of that money goes straight to charities.
yea, charity is good...
but I'll also feel really good keeping the $700 bucks in my pocket, plus its at the MGM, means the round trip will be like five grand after the casino floor gets ahold of me.
Was like that last year.... ahh, after we walked out of the concert, we were dead tired.... within thirty seconds we were all at tables again.... then New York New York, then MGM...
Ahh Vegas...
wait no! Vegas BAD!
plus I gotta go buy my copper season pass this weekend. |

Posted - 08/23/2006 : 10:43:44 PM OK, now I am sad that I can't make that one. So many awesome artists, but a really bad time of year for me at work and also there are "insufficient funds" in my travel fund.
Very happy for any of you who can make it. Next best thing to being there is reading a great review. Hope to at least be able to read some feedback on this festival. |
