This question has been answered by Marcus in the above thread. PS: The shows on this run have sounded awesome with the new Aura. It took some getting used to at the soundchecks because it sounded so different. But, WOW, all I can say is WOW! |

Posted - 07/05/2006 : 01:46:26 AM Well now my patience is wearing thin. LOL I have been trying to get Marcus to stop by and explain what it does in his guitar-speak but he obviously hasn't yet. I sent him another email reminding him and asked him to answer the question in the following thread:

Posted - 07/04/2006 : 11:33:42 AM Don't panic, the answer is coming. I am having Marcus stop by and explain the pedal since my incessant chattering about things I know not would only help to fan the flames and stir the pot of confusion and discontent. "Patience, jackass, patience"(one of my fave jokes, if you have never heard it I will tell it to you someTIMe) |

The Fishman pedal works by translating the accoustic signal into soundwaves that echo the resonant frequency of the brainwaves responsible for cognition, thus elevating us all into higher beings with one note of You Are My Sanity. Physicists have speculated that this was once only possible by the orgasmic yells of the little-known porn star, Cytherea, and are facinated by how Tim plans to stretch the bounderies of modern science.
In other words... No fucking idea what the pedal does, but Im also really interested, myself |

Posted - 07/01/2006 : 2:32:11 PM Well, TR doesn't work in cycles that way. It's more about "when the mood strikes him". One of the reasons that he stays an independent artist so that he can do what he wants when he feels it. I think at the moment he is really into the acoustic. With the new recording equipment and all he is getting thru alot of the acoustic ideas that had been piling up. I doubt we will see any electric before the end of the year, but you never know for sure with TR, he could have a "whim" any day. We will just have to wait and see. He just got a new acoustic pedal from Fishman that he was going to use onstage for the first TIMe in Santa Fe the other nite. If that went well it's likely that more acoustic is in the works as it should help to solves one of TR's age-old problems with the acoustic guitar in a LIVE setting. Well see how it all pans out. |

Posted - 07/01/2006 : 1:13:21 PM ummm, I know this is about hope for a future tour/show, but it probably belongs on the TR side and not the Show reviews side, IMO
Have no fear, Fluffy can move it over.......I think. LOL |

Posted - 07/01/2006 : 03:26:48 AM I think I speak for the west coast TR Task Force Coalition when I say: We'd like to see a Chaos View styled show!!! I'd give my two little toes to hear Snake, and a big toe to hear Backdoor. And don't even get me started on Pathetic or Bonehenge or Glimpses! Ha ha.
Although, a Equilibrium styled show would be great again too. However, it seems he's in a real strong akusedick groove right now, writing new songs (both instrumentals and lyrics) all the time. Who knows? Only the Wizard of Oz inside his head! |
