Posted - 01/29/2006 : 1:54:30 PM Hey, I just discovered Tim Reynolds after seeing that he was added to the Wakarusa lineup. I'd never heard of him before, but I started checking out some of the songs on Petroglyph and was immediately converted. Whats frustrating though is that after I downloaded the first 10 songs off Petroglyph, the FTP went offline! Could someone maybe send me tracks 11-14? If so, message me on AIM (my sn is IMakeGrassGreen) or msn (polyontology@hotmail.com). Thanks! |

Posted - 01/30/2006 : 12:52:09 AM Welcome ABOARD!!! Glad to hear of your fondness to TR's electric playing. If you have time, read through the archives of the board here, as there has been tons of info posted over the years. For a quicker read, feel free to read this FAQs section I compiled: http://www.timreynolds.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5743&SearchTerms=faqs
Also, be sue to read the interviews and reviews thread, it should be just a few threads down. |

Posted - 01/29/2006 : 10:16:04 PM actually i downloaded a show and for the first part of it he played softer stuff, which I like, but I'm a lot more into the more rockin/experimental stuff. The only downside I see is that I think it would sound better if he had a real drummer, or at least used better sounding drum samples. Still, great stuff!
Nah, not a taper, but I'm sure the show at Wakarusa will be taped by someone...the past 2 years you could buy a soundboard copy of most of the artists' sets right after they played. |

Posted - 01/29/2006 : 9:03:05 PM Alright! First stuff you are hearing is Petroglyph? That is bad ass, as a lot of people get turned off, at least that I've met, by the Petroglyp/ID/Sanctuary stuff at first.
We'll expect a full review after Wakarusa and you aren't by chance an avid taper are you?
Welcome aBOARD and to the TR Task Force. |
