Posted - 10/10/2005 : 8:48:15 PM A guitarist I know has never heard Tim. I was going to just let him borrow a CD, but I couldn't figure out which one to loan him since each one is unique in it's own way.
I think I've finally settled on compiling a mix cd for him to introduce him to Tim's music.
I'm looking for suggestions. If you were going to fit your absolute favorite songs onto one CD (impossible, I know), which ones would you go for? Live or studio... |

If this is the same song I'm thinking of then I absolutely love it. It makes me want to bang my head against the wall.
That's the one! |

Here's a track listing for you:

Hermetic Dew Drops (Has to be the opener) Smile Offspring Kundalini Bonfire (Use Gossip of the Neurons) Los Alamos is Burning And Then They Were Free Mercy Street (PG Cover) Rheginos and the Resurrection No Other Words You Are My Sanity Hopeful Heresy Loose Interpretations Neil Young Medley Che Vantage Point Danger/Doom Breathing Space Tree of Life Reliable Sources The Wayfarer
Nice list. I'll probably toss Stream in there somewhere. I know a lot of people around here get tired of it since it's all a lot of Dave fans know, but you've got to admit it grabs your attention. That's what I'm looking to do here since this guys never heard of Tim before. |

Posted - 10/11/2005 : 12:28:38 AM There's probably enough live material worthy of being included that you wouldn't even have to include released material.
I'd say get 4/9/2005 from the archive, and include the first set from that... that's pretty tight, and then some of the May 2001 shows.. those are great too... |

Yeah, I was going to make this an acoustic compilation. Guess I should have mentioned that.
The CDs I have to make this from:
See Into Your Soul, Stream, Nomadic Wavelength, Gossip of the Neurons, any live show that can be downloaded, and pretty much every Dave and Tim show out there. |
