This post is to address the many posts and emails I recieved wondering about TouRs in specific areas. As opposed to answering each individually, I will lay out the possibilities that have been discussed and we will just have to wait and see what transpires given TR's availability. Let the rumors begin.......
I have discussed the possibility with Tom, TR's booking agent, about the possibility of a TouR that will roughly start in DC area head south thru TN, NC, FL and across thru TX winding up in the NM, AZ area. Also, a TouR starting in the Pittsburgh area heading west hitting the midwest again and further down the road another TouR hitting the NW. This is covering a TIMespan thru next summer so none of them may happen in the next few months but you can definitely look forward to something of this nature in the not too distant future. As or what kind of TouRs these may be(acoustic, electric, solo, band)remains the decision of TR and it is obviously to early to predict. Keep watching for more info as I have it.
What I know for sure is TR has a show in Flagstaff, AZ at the beginning of Oct. That is definite. TR also discussed doing a few(2 or 3 shows)close to home toward the end of Oct but those may be put on hold as we may now be heading toward Ohio at the end of Oct to help out Dennis Kucinich some more.
Bottom line, I have no definite info except for the Flagstaff show. This info is provided as a ruff guideline of our hopes and dreams for the next 6 or 8 months. Of course it all depends on TR's availability and desire to TouR, although with the new CD out soon, I am sure he will want to hit the road at some point. I will let you know as soon as I have any more definite, concrete info. Thanx for all the interest and support and hope to see alot of you out on the road in the not too distant future!!!
PS:All TouR stop suggestions should be directed toward Tom Baggott at TheBookingAgency.com I do not book the TouRs, I only go where he sends me. It helps him decide on TouR stops based on interest, where do people want to see TR. He doesn't know unless you tell him. |

I have actually talked to someone with the name December. One of our customers called at work and somehow landed at my desk in the IT division (don't ask me how the hell that happened). Anyways, before I found out where to transfer her, I asked her name and she said, I shit you not, December.
Funny......I don't think her parents liked her very much. Maybe she was the uh-oh child.

welcome. i've always said we've needed more months on this board. we have a spring month now. all we need is someone named june, and someone named after a winter month. no one's named after winter months. |

please come to huntsville alabama, itd be a nice layover from atlanta to nashville. 4 hours from atlanta, 2 hours from nashville... and theres allot of tim interest here. a nice size of people like me who are die-hard tim fans. and even more people who would go see him, because they have luther college and want to see him solo, or know some stuff, but would still love to see him. also if tim did come here, like ok this is gonna sound stupid. but the music scene here isnt bad, its just me and my friends cant get in anywhere. theres allot of bands we either are like die-hard fans of, and know the band members and their families (sometimes jam with them) or weve heard buzz about them (i know the girlfriend on a guy in a band here ive been wanting to see for months), or music we would like to see because its some nice acoustic music, cant beat that... but most places for people of smaller notability, like small bands and stuff, are bars. there are places for someone of tim's size to play. but if you did come, and played in a bar, you would lose the highschool scene, and thats a major demographic that would come. |
