Flufy's email said

And there maybe another little surprise to
follow closely after the new double CD. Hmmmm, what could it be?

I LOVE SURPRISES!!! My girlfriend was with me when I read this and she said I turned into a 12 year old at christmas. My mind is going nuts on the possibilities. Fluffy, you sneaky little devil for slipping that into the email!!!

I'd prefer a live double disc album, over any DVD personally. But that's because I listen to live albums way more than I wqtch them.

Maybe a remastered show from the Equilibrium tour. Or one from this tour. That would be a million times better.

TR finally mentioned it in the interview that was just posted, the surprise was the "spacey CD" that he kind of did on the side while he was working on "Parallel Universe". Sorry, no official acoustic DVD but Soho in Santa Barbara was recorded and Mexacali Blues in Teaneck was also recorded so there should be some recent acoustic shows available soon, but no OFFICIAL release. ENJOY!!!

my personal opinion, ID should stay like it is. It was originaly just improvs over loops, and the finnished product seems to fit that unproduced mood.

cartoon network has it.

Yeah, looking at this logically, I don't see the reissuing/re-releasing of old back catalog as being a very probable possibility because after all, Tim has been quoted as saying that he was never happy with the finished product of a lot of that old stuff anyways. This is why we are seeing a lot of reworked versions of the old stuff on the equilibrium release. (Although an official remastered release of ID/Petroglyph would rule)

"Only a few people in the universe know how to play it, and they're not even that good."

it's sad that fox had to cancel it

A free "sister" with each CD.

It's like christmas when I was 5 all over again

trying to convince my mom that this present is already half open so I may as well just open it now

I bet TIM would get a kick out of all this speculation, LOL.

Key words "Maybe and Little." Of course nothing TR does is "little" to us. I guess I am thinking more in terms of another short tour or a CD with something different, other artists or other instruments?????

Yeah, I agree, I love surprises too! hehehehe

not likely. actually, i asked him about TR3 and what was happening lately, and he said that nothing was really going on. they all do their own stuff. now i'm intrigued though, if the bonus disc isn't the surprise...

My guesses are:

- New DVD
- Remastering/reissuing of back-catalog
- The official shedding of his human shell
- Releases of accessories such as shirts/stickers

when i asked tim about the new album and when it would come out, he said probably september(ish), and that there would also be a bonus disc of stuff he did when he was on shrooms. of course, he was high when he told me this, so maybe i wasn't supposed to know...

the good news is, when fluffy said the new album was a two disc set, that bouns disc was what he was talking about. I say good news cause that means thats not the surprise

ps - i heard that disc, in a rough form in the van, and you wont be dissapointed. trippy shit!

2> after the new album, re-releases of his out of print old albums!

3> after the new album, tim goes to masons house, raids all the live shows, sends them to me, and they get put up on the archive for all to share!! ok, this is pushing it, but i still pray nightly this happens...

My own guess

4> After the new album, another DVD!?!? (ACOUSTIC?!?!)

I'd be on that DVD like a fat kid on a cupcake

I can say with some confidence that the Buffalo show was not filmed...and considering their experiences in Buffalo, I doubt that there will ever be a "Live in Buffalo" DVD or Album =).
