Posted - 06/24/2004 : 08:45:58 AM No, he played an entire set with Dave + Friends...that's it. |

Posted - 06/24/2004 : 08:39:05 AM I still want to know if Tim Reynolds played with anyone else at Bonarroo. |

Posted - 06/23/2004 : 3:03:27 PM Yeah. Go through old threads and you will see how rapidly things can (and will) decay. The conversation about The Silmarillion is pure genius compared to some of the stuff Post-Whoring has contributed.
Post-Whoring is the term that is used on the board, instead of spamming, by the way. |

Posted - 06/23/2004 : 12:19:53 PM it was another site devoted to tim reynold's music. i came here because the offical tr site had an obscene amount of applets and spinning gifs that took about forever to load.
and um. . .there's a difference between off-topic and spam. spam pushes a product and is generally made by a non-contributing board member. off-topic happens because conversation tends to move around a lot. |

Posted - 06/23/2004 : 12:16:03 PM what we are all forgetting, is the original topic.
It doesn't matter if i wrote WAR & PEACE in this thread, it's still spam because it doesn't follow the thread's topic.
P.S. what was this site before TR site? |

Posted - 06/23/2004 : 12:12:53 PM what spam? we're talking about a book. are you sure you have the right thread? this makes me wonder what you think the term "spam" means. let me break it down for you. example 1: spam
bbbbbbbb writes: Hey guys! Have you ever read the Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien? It's fantastic. Go here to check out more and read some sample pageswww.itsafakelinkdontclickit.com
this is the only post bbbbbbb has ever contributed.
example 2: not spam
dan p. writes the sillmarillion adapted to movie would kick an absurd amount of ass and i'd gladly sit through 12 hours of it.
arthen writes: i agree. i'd watch 12 hours and then demand the extended addition.
dan p. has been on the board since before this site was the offical tim reynolds site. arthen also has been steadily contributing valuable posts for quite some time.
hope that helped.
anyway, what they could do, is take stories from the silmarillion and make a series out of it. the darkening of valinor, feanor's oath. the whole thing right up through the akallabeth. |

this is spam parading as a valueable comment |

Posted - 06/22/2004 : 5:08:24 PM A movie would probably suck. But if they made one, it would have to be on A&E or something, and it would have to be twelve hours long. |

The following is the setlist. I am confused at what everyone is talking about as far as if Dave played with anyone else or do you mean did Tim play with anyone else? Tim played with Dave and Friends. The same band that went on tour as Dave and Friends.
Here is the set list. + means Dave and Tim played together, the last three were Dave and Trey. Hope this helps clear up some confusion.

Posted - 06/21/2004 : 01:46:25 AM I think that means: "No, he didn't play with anyone else." Otherwise, I'm sure someone would've heard about it, and posted a link here so we could download the material. |
